LOL) Here is a great way to make life miserable for yourself and pretty much everyone in your alliance. Tick off the wrong person. When you communicate with other alliances, you may wish to take the high ground. In our alliance we honestly have contests to see who gets the best hate mail.
We post pictures on Line chat and compete with each other to see who has the most creative and highly obscene hate mails sent to them. They crack me up! The biggest point here is you may not (or you may) want to fall into that trap. Your best bet is using some kind of manners after being attacked because after all, Game of War is supposed to be fun. Remember: there will always be a bigger fish no matter your power.
Try and have fun even when zeroed. Don’t allow your emotions to be affected because of the flashy lights and pretend dead soldiers. In all reality what happens when you are attacked?? No soldiers ACTUALLY DIE. It is an email. A notification! Something alerts you that you have been attacked. Understanding…It is hard, but cussing the other player out will only potentially make you AND your alliance brothers that players farm until you quit the game (LOL – I’ve had a few farms myself actually) or sell and jump to another kingdom.
2. Tile Hitting – Attacking players on tiles have been the topic of MANY conversations. There would be no better way to secure the title of “Mortal Enemy” than attacking another player on a tile while they are trying to collect rss and/or materials. There are no hospitals on those nasty little tiles and thereby make troops very vulnerable. Not to mention the fact that the best GoW players would never be caught dead harvesting a tile WITH their hero (a common mistake by new players). So troops are sitting there with no hero, no hospitals, and usually just enough troops to empty the tile. BOOM! Next thing that player gets is an email saying ALL THOSE TROOPS ARE GONE! Uh Oh, George. Gear up. Revenge is ON.
3. First March – So your kingdom has won KvK (Kingdom vs. Kingdom), gold is RAINING downfrom the heavens (signal the angel choir), and you and everyone in the entire kingdom has gold frenzy blindness and is marching hither-and-yon to collect it.
You select a tasty little gold tile, select your troops and hit march, and your screen lights up RED…What to do? If it were me and my screen turns RED this is a clear indication that the other player had “first march” and I would would probably recall immediately. “First March” rule may apply in several scenarios, actually. Example: Attacking monsters. If you see the tale-tell brown (or GOD help us…GOLDEN) footprints of a hero not from your alliance headed to or from a monster, be cautious in taking that final hit to kill it. It is extremely difficult to know whose hero is trekking back home.
Monster sniping has been known to start all out kingdom burning. The risk may not be greater than the reward. Falcons Tip: If someone else started it and you don’t see them marching back within 1 minute of returning home – THEN kill it. Otherwise, you may want to leave it alone.
